So on the morning of the 4th day of the DNC where Obama was to deliver his my childhoodacceptance speech, I decided on a whim that I would attend since they opened it up to the public @ Invesco field (Denver Broncos home field). The problem with that was that I was in Texas, in Lewisville, just northwest of Dallas, plus I still wanted to stop in Lawton, OK (my childhood town). Well to make a long story short. I missed it. I arrived at the stadium as the fireworks were going off when Obama finished his speech.
Below are some photos. I thought I was being a newspaper photographer...lol, not my forte. Tell me what you think. Oh yeah and as soon I figure out how to upload video, I'll show you my trip in small clips.

Very cool. I think your trip west was much funner that mine! Better pics I think. I really like the one of the people walking. I like their yellow trail they leave behind! Be safe! =]
I can't believe you almost picked up a hitchiker, and she was too picky to ride part way with you! That's hilarious! Are you having fun? Can't wait to see the Holga pics! Looks like Obama is making history - it must have been pretty cool to experience some of the excitement in person!
What is on the sign behind you in the picture with you wearing the brown shirt? I can't quite make it out!
Btw...All of the different state signs are great! That's what I try to do when we take our family trips, rather I tried while traveling with "you know who" lol!!!
